In this episode of the Directing Theatre podcast we talk with director and author Helgard Haug from the artist collective Rimini Protokoll about immersive theatre, collective processes and politics in the theatre. Rimini Protokoll was founded in 2000 by Helgard Haug, Stefan Kaegi and Daniel Wetzel at the Institute of applied theatre science at the University of Giessen. They have worked in different constellations, and are recognized for having expanded the means of theatre while creating new perspectives on reality.
